Real estate done differently — by people who’ve lived it.

We’re not a hedge fund, a franchise, or a call center. PPG Ventures is a hands-on team of real estate professionals with decades of combined experience across acquisitions, development, construction, and finance, operating with a simple principle: every seller deserves a real solution and straight answers.

Family-Owned Business

Meet the team

Rachelle Sweet

Co-Founder · Transaction Coordinator & Operations

Rachelle’s real estate story started the way the best ones do out of necessity and ingenuity. At 21 she bought her first property and immediately turned the master bedroom into a short-term rental to cover her mortgage while she put herself through college. By grad school she was helping others acquire properties through seller financing and managing those portfolios herself. That early instinct, find a smarter way, has defined everything since.

She went on to scale one of Chicago’s largest wholesaling operations alongside Jon, pioneered short-term rentals in Costa Rica before the market caught on, and has spent years building PPG Ventures into a disciplined, data-driven acquisitions business. With a PhD in Neuropsychology and deep expertise in epigenetics, Rachelle brings an analytical precision to deal structuring and operations that sets PPG apart. She runs transactions and operations with an exacting eye every deal, every contract, every number.

Jon Sweet

Co-Founder · Lead Management & Acquisitions

Born in Brunswick, Maine, Jon has been a force in real estate for over two decades and his track record speaks plainly. From leading one of Chicago’s highest-volume wholesale operations in the mid-2000s to building and managing high-performance cold-call acquisition teams across multiple markets, he knows how to move properties and motivate people.

After Chicago, Jon took those skills into new territory: building short-term rental operations in Costa Rica before the market caught on, then refining his acquisitions craft at a New Hampshire firm before co-founding PPG. He brings an operator’s instinct and a closer’s confidence to every lead. When a homeowner calls PPG, Jon’s team is who answers and who gets deals done.

Dana Gianoulis

Acquisitions Partner · On-Site Acquisitions & Project Oversight

With over 25 years in real estate development, Dana brings a breadth of experience that’s genuinely rare. He has developed land in Colorado, built beachfront projects in Panama, and constructed condo tracts along the North Shore of Massachusetts, meaning he understands every phase of a project, from the first site walk to the final sale.

That full-cycle fluency is what makes Dana invaluable on acquisitions: he can assess a property’s true potential and its real risk in the same conversation. He handles on-site acquisitions and project oversight for PPG, ensuring every deal is evaluated with clear eyes and every property is managed with the same respect he extends to every seller. In his free time, Dana enjoys sports, the arts, and time with his wife, three college-aged children, and his dog Blu.
